The role requires hands-on expertise in EKS networking, security policies, and network policies to ensure scalability, security, and performance of our cloud infrastructure.Responsibilities:Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and security.Develop and enforce network and security policies to enhance cluster security and compliance.Optimize Kubernetes (EKS) networking for autoscaling and cost management.Implement and manage service mesh solutions like Istio for traffic routing, observability, and security.Automate cloud network infrastructure deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network performance to ensure minimal downtime.Stay updated with latest cloud networking and security practices, implementing compliance and governance controls.Qualifications:8+ years of experience in cloud network engineering and infrastructure management.Expertise in AWS cloud networking (VPC, subnets, security groups, NACLs).Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS) networking and cluster security best practices.Knowledge of network policies (Calico, Cilium) and security policies (OPA, Kyverno).Experience with service mesh solutions like Istio.Proficiency in Terraform or similar IaC tools.Knowledge of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog) and cloud security principles.Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go.Experience with RBAC, IAM, and security best practices.Preferred Qualifications:AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Advanced Networking - Specialty, Solutions Architect, etc.Seniority LevelMid-Senior levelEmployment TypeFull-timeJob FunctionInformation TechnologyIndustriesIT Services and IT Consulting
