This role is pivotal to ensuring the seamless delivery of our products, leading cross-functional teams to drive efficiency, scalability, and regulatory compliance.
The ideal candidate is a data-driven problem solver with a deep understanding of the gaming industry, fintech ecosystem, mobile platforms, and payments infrastructure.Compensation$150,000-$175,000 annually, depending on experienceBenefitsMedicalDentalBasic Life Insurance (included with the dental plan)VisionShort-term DisabilityCombo plan covering accidents, hospitalizations, and critical illnesses401k planFree on-site parkingPaid time offPaid holidaysBonus payLocationIn-person in Las Vegas, NV, 89103: Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute scalable operational strategies aligned with company goals, focusing on customer experience, efficiency, and risk mitigation.Build, lead, and mentor cross-functional teams.Oversee the daily operations of the product including transaction processing, compliance, payment gateways, merchant services, and disbursement networks.Identify gaps and implement process improvements to streamline internal workflows, reduce costs, and improve service levels.Manage relationships with banks, processors, payment networks, and third-party providers to ensure uptime, performance, and alignment with business needs.Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to financial regulations, licensing requirements, and risk protocols in multiple jurisdictions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth and secure user experience across onboarding, transactions, and dispute resolution.Establish KPIs and reporting mechanisms to track operational performance and use data insights to inform strategic decisions.Skills / ExperienceBachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field.At least 7 years of experience as a Director of Operations with at least 5 years of operational leadership experience within the gaming, fintech, and/or payments industries.Proven track record in scaling operational functions in a high-growth tech environment.Deep knowledge of payments infrastructure, KYC/AML frameworks, and digital wallet technologies.Strong project management skills and experience with tools including Jira, Asana, and/or something similar.Experience in building and managing remote or globally distributed teams is a plus.Comfortable navigating ambiguity and solving complex problems with a hands-on mindset.Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.KOIN is committed to building a diverse workforce.
