Role PurposeAs an authorized distributor in Venezuela, the Sales Manager will oversee the full sales cycle and team development for a company specializing in industrial equipment—primarily generators.
This role is key to driving revenue growth, managing a B2B sales team, and contributing to strategic business decisions.
English fluency is essential for daily collaboration with the Managing Director.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Sales Department.Build and scale the sales team—recruit, onboard, and train new Sales Executives and Sales Engineers.Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed KPIs and revenue targets.Conduct direct sales and support the team in client acquisition and account management.Analyze market demand and competition to identify growth opportunities.Develop commercial proposals, lead bidding processes, and assist with technical proposal preparation.Deliver accurate sales forecasts and manage reporting using CRM tools (Odoo or similar).Monitor performance through quantitative KPIs and adjust strategies as needed.Manage client relationships, respond to escalated customer complaints, and ensure customer satisfaction.Collaborate with operations and administration teams to ensure smooth documentation and filing processes.Advise distributors and partners on compliance with SOPs and company policies.Participate in strategic planning with senior leadership and provide timely sales insights.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.5–6+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in industrial equipment (generators, machinery, etc.
