Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trust Officer to join our team on a long-term contract basis.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and administering trusts, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing exceptional service to beneficiaries and stakeholders.
This role requires residency in Nevada and a strong understanding of state trust laws.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the administration of various types of trusts, ensuring compliance with legal and fiduciary obligations.Act as the primary point of contact for trust beneficiaries, addressing inquiries and providing guidance on trust matters.Collaborate with legal, tax, and investment professionals to ensure proper trust management.Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and ensure timely distributions in accordance with trust agreements.Monitor and assess trust assets, coordinating with financial advisors as necessary.Stay up-to-date with Nevada trust laws and industry best practices.Ensure adherence to company policies and applicable regulatory requirements.Qualifications:Must be a Nevada resident.Bachelor's degree in finance, law, business administration, or a related field preferred.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in trust administration or a related field.Strong knowledge of Nevada trust laws and fiduciary responsibilities.Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Proficiency in trust accounting and financial management software is a plus.Minimum 1-year contract with the potential for extension.Competitive compensation based on experience.Flexible work arrangements (Remote/Hybrid/In-Office as required).Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeContractJob functionFinance
