MSD is responsible for providing maintenance technical consultations, towards best-in-class maintenance organization through conducting selective maintenance assessments, turnaround assurances and deploying cutting-edge technologies and best practices across the Global Manufacturing portfolio.The primary role is to provide turnaround management services for refining and petrochemical plants of SAUDI ARAMCO (SA) downstream sector.
The services will cover the coordination with wholly owned assets, affiliates, and other related corporate functions such as Corporate Maintenance Services Department.Key ResponsibilitiesAs the successful candidate, you will be required to perform the following:Assist/Lead turnaround assurance review or cold-eye review of turnaround preparation of different facilities to achieve predictable outcomes and improvements.Review the progress and quality of the deliverables during the turnaround life cycle and all phases, providing convincing recommendations for improvements.Work as an influencer and motivate the turnaround planning team of different facilities to implement best practices and lessons learned to enhance quality, safety, and competitiveness.Review the implementation of stage-gated turnaround processes in different facilities.Assist/Conduct risk management workshops for turnarounds for different facilities.Assist/Conduct scope challenge workshops for turnarounds for different facilities.Assist/Conduct schedule challenge workshops for turnarounds for different facilities.Assist/Review Key Performance Indicators for turnarounds.Keep abreast of significant developments in new technologies that can improve Turnaround performances.Lead and run the Community of Practice to collect and disseminate best practices and knowledge between all refining and petrochemical sectors.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a recognized and approved program.
A Mechanical Engineering Degree is preferred.2 years of experience in Turnaround Management including planning & execution in the Oil & Gas Downstream sector (Refining & Petrochemicals).Experience in turnaround planning software such as Prometheus, ROSER, Primavera P6, and other end-to-end solutions for turnaround and outage management.Knowledge and experience in turnaround stage-gated concepts.Experience in conducting turnaround assurance is preferred.Understanding of competitiveness and Solomon indices pertaining to turnaround performance.Experience in turnaround budgeting and cost optimization.Experience in contracting strategy, contract scope preparation, and technical bid evaluation for turnaround contracts.Experience in turnaround materials & resources management.Experience in close-out activities such as critique, post-turnaround reports development, and lessons learned documentation is necessary.Experience in turnaround risk management.Experience in cost benchmarking such as Solomon is preferable.SAP system proficiency is also a requirement.Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
