Responsibilities include scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, training, safety exercises, and maintaining tools, equipment, and records.
You will also provide technical guidance and uphold the work ethic and culture of the team.Responsibilities:Ensure all activities are performed safely and according to policiesAssist in system acceptance and performance tests post-maintenance or outagesPerform safety tasks and cover for other sites as neededAssist with turbine maintenance, including major component work and troubleshootingSupport Balance of Plant procedures, including substation and collection systemsAdhere to company values and behaviorsPerform other duties as assignedRequirements and Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in sciences or related field preferredTechnical degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Journeyman, Master Electrician, Wind Tech Certificate)Unrestricted driver's license in good standingMinimum 2 years in power generation or wind turbine maintenance; experience with Vestas, GE, Acciona, Nordex preferredMilitary technical experience is a plusWilling to relocate within 1 hour of siteProficient with hand and power tools, safety policies, and troubleshooting electromechanical systemsStrong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skillsPhysical ability to climb towers, lift tools/equipment up to 50 lbs, and work in various environmentsPhysical Requirements:Personal weight limit of 270 lbsAbility to climb wind towers and work in confined, swaying areasAbility to lift and push tools/equipment up to 50 lbsCompensation and Benefits:Annual salary range in Illinois: $53,942 - $72,980.
