Job description: We are seeking an experienced and detailoriented Ecommerce Accountant to join our team at Intrinsically Safe Store. As an integral part of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our financial operations related to our Ecommerce platform. This includes maintaining accurate records, preparing financial statements, analyzing performance metrics, and collaborating with crossfunctional teams to support strategic decisionmaking.Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and uptodate financial records for our Ecommerce platform, including transaction processing, accounts payablereceivable, and reconciliations.
Prepare monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to provide insights into our financial performance.
Analyze key performance indicators KPIs related to Ecommerce sales, customer acquisition costs, and profitability, and provide actionable recommendations to improve performance.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including marketing, sales, and operations, to develop and execute financial plans and budgets for our Ecommerce business.
Monitor and reconcile bank accounts, credit card transactions, and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal controls and financial regulations.
Identify areas for process improvement and automation to streamline financial operations and increase efficiency.
Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices related to Ecommerce accounting and financial management.Position Requirements
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Certified Public Accountant CPA or equivalent professional certification preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, with a focus on Ecommerce or retail accounting.
Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Xero, and advanced Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.
Strong analytical, problemsolving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment with tight deadlines.
Knowledge of Ecommerce platforms and digital marketing metrics is a plus.
