Summary Of PositionThe bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the proper recording of financial transactions. The ideal candidate will have experience with QuickBooks, strong organizational skills, attention to detail and be fully bilingual in English and Spanish.Duties And ResponsibilitiesRecord day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, suppliers ledger, customer ledger, and general ledger.Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner.Conduct periodic reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy.Maintain the chart of accounts.Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.Assist with audits, providing necessary information and documentation.Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.Provide administrative support to the finance team, including filing, data entry, and correspondence.Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in bookkeeping and accounting.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).Experience with QuickBooks is required.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.Strong understanding of financial principles and practices.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Fully bilingual in English and Spanish.Physical RequirementsNoneLocationMaracay, Venezuela.Travel RequirementsNo travel required.Type of EmploymentFull-timeSalary$500 per monthDisclaimerThis job description is a summary of typical functions of the position, not an exhaustive or comprehensive list of all possible job responsibilities, tasks, and duties.
