Viking Travel Care Medical Officer Job DescriptionWe are seeking a qualified medical physician to join our team as Chief Medical Officer (CMO) for Viking Travel Care.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our expansion and establish an in-house medical team and medical assistance services.About the Role:The CMO will have professional medical responsibility for Viking Travel Care, supporting the Travel Care Management team to ensure that medical processes are well-functioning and compliant with best medical practice.Key Responsibilities:Professional medical responsibility in Viking Travel CareCompliance of medical routines and processesOnboard, lead and train the team of contact doctorsManage, support, train and give feedback to the medical teamEnsure medical team's performance secures fulfillment of contracts and agreed service levels, as well as customer satisfactionRequirements:Qualified medical doctor with specialization, preferably within aviation medicine, anaesthesiology, surgery or emergency medicineBroad experience in travel assistance medical casesFluent in Norwegian, Finnish, Danish or Swedish, and proficiency in written and spoken EnglishExcellent communication skillsEmpathic and service-mindedA team player with good collaboration skillsProactive and structured, with high quality focusPreferred Location:Preferably in Spain, alternatively in one of the Nordic countries; Norway, Sweden, Denmark or Finland.Employment Type:Full-time position.

If stationed in the Nordic, frequent travelling to our offices in Spain will be necessary.Salary:The estimated salary for this role is around 120,000 - 180,000 EUR per year, depending on location and experience.
