Clinical Nurse Manager - Community Health Location: Community Health - Perth Metropolitan Area Unit/Division: Service Unit 1 - Community Health - Immunisation Work Type: Permanent - Full Time, Fixed Term - Full Time This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent Full Time and Fixed Term Full Time appointments with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency. We currently have a Permanent Full Time position (1.0 FTE) available to fill. VCID No. 893811 Position Profile: We are seeking experienced leaders to join our Community Health - Immunisation service area. The Clinical Nurse Manager - Community Health will manage community health staff, including community health nurses, enrolled nurses, other health workers, support staff and associated physical resources. You will act as a role model, consultant and team leader who provides clinical support and guidance and hold responsibility for the standards of nursing practice and implement changes to clinical practice within the designated area. Your key responsibilities will include: Effectively lead and manage a team of community health nurses within the designated area to implement service delivery in line with CAHS-Community Health strategic direction. Monitor and review standard of nursing practice in performance management and development and identification of consumer feedback and complaints. Disseminate information appropriately to relevant staff on all aspects of nursing practice. Work in collaboration with the Coordinator Nursing Community Health in the development, implementation and ongoing review of the annual business plan, manages, reviews and makes recommendations regarding human and physical resources. Act as a consultant and resource person on clinical matters for Community Health Nurses, Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Health Workers. Maintain effective communication with staff, community, internal and external agencies. In consultation with the Coordinator Nursing Community Health, facilitate the development, coordination, implementation and evaluation of quality improvement and best practice projects.
