In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for maintaining operational excellence, ensuring superior guest experience, and managing the hotel's various departments - front office, housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance.
This role will focus on maintaining high standards of service, fostering a positive work environment, and driving financial performance.Benefits:MedicalDentalBasic Life Insurance (included with the dental plan)VisionShort-term DisabilityCombo plan covering accidents, hospitalizations, and critical illnessesFree on-site parkingOne free meal per shiftPaid time offEligibility to participate in a 401(k)-retirement plan (after 6 months of successful employment)Location: In-person in Las Vegas, NV, 89109: Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).Responsibilities:Oversee and drive daily hotel operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and guest-focused service across all departments.Lead operational strategy, setting clear goals to achieve the highest standards of quality, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency.Collaborate with department heads to develop and implement innovative processes that improve service delivery and operational excellence.Provide strong leadership and direction to team members, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.Ensure team members are well-trained, motivated, and aligned with the hotel's service values and business objectives.Oversee recruitment, training, and career development programs to ensure the hotel team is continuously evolving.Ensure that all guests have exceptional experiences through personalized service, attention to detail, and rapid resolution of concerns.Monitor guest feedback and work proactively to enhance service standards and address any areas of improvement.Implement guest engagement strategies to build loyalty, ensuring repeat business and positive word-of-mouth.Manage and control operational costs, ensuring the hotel meets or exceeds its budgeted financial goals.Conduct regular performance analysis, implementing corrective actions to improve profitability and reduce inefficiencies.Oversee and manage hotel budgets, forecasting, and P&L responsibilities, with a focus on maximizing revenue and minimizing costs.Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and regulatory standards, maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both guests and team members.Establish and enforce hotel-wide standards for cleanliness, service, and operational procedures, ensuring consistency across all guest touchpoints.Conduct regular audits of operational systems, procedures, and facilities to maintain the highest levels of quality and compliance.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic initiatives that attract new guests and drive repeat business.Manage and oversee group sales operations on-property, ensuring seamless execution of events and experiences while proactively nurturing potential leads and fostering strong client relationships to drive business growth.Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to ensure the hotel remains competitive and relevant in the marketplace.Leverage brand partnerships, promotional campaigns, and loyalty programs to drive occupancy rates and increase revenue.Skills / Experience:Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field, preferred.At least 7 years of experience in hotel operations.At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory hotel management position or similar.Proven track record of successful leadership, with expertise in managing hotel operations across multiple departments.High proficiency in hotel management software (PMS systems), MS Office Suite, and relevant operational tools.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions quickly and effectively.Exceptional financial acumen, with experience in budget management, revenue optimization, and cost control.Strong understanding of industry trends, market dynamics, and guest preferences.Passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.The ability to stay calm under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing guest needs and business demands.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.Must be able to obtain a Nevada Gaming Registration Card.The ability to submit to a background check and drug test is required.Physical Requirements:Ability to stand, walk, sit, climb or balance, stoop, stretch, bend, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl.Ability to use hands and fingers to handle objects, tools, or controls.Proficient use of a computer, including keyboarding and mouse skills.Ability to lift or maneuver at least twenty (20) pounds.This job description is not an exhaustive list of all functions required for this position.
