Requirements:

Responsibilities:
The Field Drilling Superintendent will lead the startup of a heavy oil drilling campaign in the EM.The position will oversee the rig pick up, rig certification, as well as the safe and efficient drilling execution of the project.Will be accountable for the delivery of drilling operations according to business plan and aspirational targets for HSE, costs, and cycle time.The field superintendent will ensure that well control and well integrity are maintained at all times as well as manage any well control operation.Will mentor and provide coaching as well as technical, leadership, and operational guidance to less experience field personnel from the EM.The superintendent will also liaise with Union representatives and address situations as needed.Typical well challenges include heavy oil remote land rig operations on multi-well pads, loss circulation, hole stability, narrow drilling window, 4,000'+ horizontal laterals, tools and services availability.In addition to drilling operations supervisors, this position will routinely interface with other cross functional Joint Venture team members such as Logistics, Subsurface, Operations, HSE, Waste Management, and Supply Chain in addition to Service Companies.This is a rotational 28x28 field-based position in Anzoátegui, Venezuela.
