As a Valatam team member, you will play a crucial role in shaping our financial health and guiding our strategic decisions.You'll have success here if you value clear processes and feel qualified to do the following:Analyzing industry trends, assessing the financial health of the company, and recommending actions to maintain or enhance performance.Conducting comprehensive analyses of costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and actual performance against business plans.Identifying and evaluating opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.Overseeing the operations of the finance department, setting goals, and designing frameworks to achieve them.Conducting regular assessments of financial procedures and implementing improvements as necessary.Reviewing the work of the finance team, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure accuracy and effectiveness of financial processes.Developing new metrics for measuring business performance relative to strategic priorities and minimizing risk.Driving value within the business through margin enhancement, cost reduction initiatives, and operational efficiencies.Providing insights into spending trends, cost-saving opportunities, and margin optimization strategies.Advising on investment activities and devising strategies to maximize returns while mitigating risks.Minimum RequirementsC1/C2 English and Spanish writing and speaking skills.At least 5 years of proven experience in similar roles.Proven experience creating and optimizing financial processes.Minimum 3 years of experience managing Finance Teams.Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.Graduated with a college degree.Able to work a Monday-Friday 8 am - 5 pm schedule in EST time zone.Proficient with Microsoft programs and Google Suite.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to quickly learn how to use new tools and software.A quiet home office with a desk and office chair.Stable internet with at least 10 MBPS download & 2 MBPS upload speed.A laptop/desktop with 8GB RAM, a 1.6GHz processor, and 50GB of free hard-drive space, a headset, and a smartphone.
