The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with senior management to develop financial reports and strategies for the organization. You are comfortable maintaining ERP system information, handling large amounts of data, acting as a business partner, decision maker, and providing regular financial reporting. You are a leader of your role and department and you show proactiveness for improving processes and reports.
Responsibilities
Finance and Accounting:
• Complete financial accounting and forecasting.
• Deliver reports and metrics to leadership.
• Oversee all activities related to Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payables.
• Oversee the processing of all transactions within the ERP system and resulting compilation of data.
• Cash management – Finance planning & reporting.
• Elaborate cash-flow and financial statements.
• Monitors the activities for month closures and annual declaration.
• Establish and maintain finance and collection procedures.
• Assure accounting.
• Advise director and executive management on decisions related to the company's finances.
• Drive the continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices.
• Other duties as assigned by the company Director.
• Comply with internal procedures.
• Manages AP and payroll
• Complies with government requirements.
Administration:
• Acts as HR Generalist performing below responsibilities.
• Talent Acquisition: Lead the recruitment and hiring process, ensuring we attract and retain the best talent.
• Benefits & Compensation: Administer employee benefits and creates reporting for sales team's commissions.
• Employee Relations: Address and resolve employee issues, ensuring a harmonious working environment.
• Culture & Engagement: Drive initiatives that improve our workplace and promote company culture. Communicates to whole team general information such as internal memos, holiday's celebrations, anniversaries, etc.
• Administrative Tasks: Maintain employee records, and oversee payroll.
• Compliance: Creates and maintains processes and procedures. Acts as liaison for ISO project. Implements and maintains records for compliance.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance or Accounting and 5 - 7 years of relevant experience
• English (B2-C1 level)
• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite
• Detail-oriented and analytical
• SAP, Odoo or any program for finance and accounting management.
• Ability to exercise a high degree of confidentiality
• Entrepreneurial vision
• Assertiveness
• Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to follow up on tasks
• Ability to work independently
• Strong written and oral communication skills (Spanish, English), open and receptive communication style
• Proficient in relevant software (SAP), adequate experience with financial accounting standards
• International (Mexico and US) Accounting Experience (Desired)
Technical Specifications:
- Own laptop (extra screen is required)
- Windows 10 or higher, Microsoft Office 2016 or higher available, at least 16Gb RAM, Processor Core i7 or higher, working microphone and webcam.
- Good and stable fiber optic internet access (at least 20Mbs or above) to support live video conferences and/or calls.
- No recurrent electricity issues. (No Break or UPS device as electricity back up (Required))
We offer:
- Mon – Fri schedule: 10:30 am to 7:30 pm (Venezuela time)
- $650 to $800 USD monthly payment depending on experience.
