As a leading NGO based in Geneva, Switzerland, our organization manages several initiatives, including the REACH Initiative (REACH), which aims to support key humanitarian coordination structures and decision making in Venezuela.About the RoleWe're currently seeking an experienced candidate to lead our Humanitarian Analysis Cell in Caracas. The ideal candidate will have previously managed teams and implemented projects in complex humanitarian settings, with a strong ability to represent IMPACT with donors and coordinate with senior external partners.The Research Manager will oversee the strategy development and implementation of the Venezuela Humanitarian Analysis Cell, under the supervision of the Deputy Country Coordinator based in Bogotá, Colombia. This position is based in Caracas, with expected travel to other locations in Venezuela.Main ResponsibilitiesStaff Management: Direct management of international and national team members, including recruitment, appraisals, and career management;Day-to-day management: Development of work plans and performance indicators, and development and implementation of capacity training plans to improve efficiency and performance;Regular check-ins: Conduct regular check-ins with staff within the unit, and promote team building, productivity, and staff welfare;Technical backstopping: Provide regular support and technical backstopping;Strategic mission decision-making: Advise in strategic mission decision-making as a member of the Senior Management Team (SMT).Key RequirementsExperience: At least 3 years of experience in managing teams and implementing projects in complex humanitarian settings;Skills: Strong ability to represent IMPACT with donors and coordinate with senior external partners;Candidates: Candidates should be comfortable representing IMPACT with donors and be able to coordinate and liaise with a range of senior external partners.What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary between $33,840 USD and $36,720 USD per annum, depending on location, plus a monthly living allowance of $300 USD. Accommodation and food are provided in a guesthouse. Additionally, you'll receive enrolment in Swiss private pension fund, health insurance, life insurance, and repatriation assistance.
