Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Puerto La Cruz. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the oil and gas industry, with a particular focus on heavy oil handling and processing. Experience in the Petrocedeno upgrader or similar facilities will be a significant advantageResponsibilitiesProvide technical and engineering support for the operation and maintenance of plant infrastructure, including piping, tanks, pumps, valves, and control systems.Conduct technical analyses and integrity assessments to ensure the safe and reliable operation of systems.Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans to optimize asset efficiency and lifespan.Manage infrastructure improvement projects, from conception to execution, ensuring adherence to budgets and schedules.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify and resolve technical issues related to infrastructure.Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends in the oil and gas industry, particularly in heavy oil handling.Comply with all applicable safety and environmental regulations.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with a particular focus on heavy oil handling and processing.Demonstrated experience in the Petrocedeno upgrader or similar facilities will be a strong advantage.Solid knowledge of piping systems, tanks, pumps, valves, and control systems.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, both verbal and written.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong commitment to safety and environmental protection
