Senior Backend Engineer - Home Office

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer for a company that is building a customer acquisition platform for B2B companies. This person must be a pragmatic engineer who has an eye for detail and a proven track record of building and scaling sophisticated, reliable, and user-friendly systems.
You will have an opportunity to work on cutting-edge data and AI systems that power novel user experiences. You will be joining a team composed of early engineers on products such as Snapchat, Playdom, AWS, and Amazon Alexa.
Job Responsibilities:

Full-stack/Backend developers with 6+ years of experience developing green field projects.
Technically proficient individual contributors with a strong focus on speed, simplicity, performance, and security.
Experience with NextJS and Typescript is strongly preferred.
Experience working with database technologies, specifically Postgres, with additional experience in Kafka and the modern data stack is considered beneficial.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and logging tools (e.g., Datadog, Sentry).

Requirements:

6+ years of experience creating green field projects (from scratch) with a high sense of product design.
Working with design and implementing features.
Delivering high-quality, efficient, reusable, and reliable code with automated tests for maintenance and confidence in our releases.
Being comfortable switching between different parts of our stack: Application backend and Data infrastructure.
Driving technical excellence and innovation, continuously seeking opportunities to optimize performance, scalability, and user experience.
Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
The ideal candidate should possess at least 6 years of proven experience, combining technical expertise with a keen product-focused approach.

Schedule:

Full-time (8 hours a day / 5 days a week)

Gross monthly salary 3,000 to 4,500 USD
