Focuses on the interaction of fluids with equipment in meeting required compositional specifications, physical conditions, and flow rates.Supports larger customers/clients and may lead functional projects under infrequent supervision. Developing a detailed knowledge of the work function.Process Engineer with high expertise in several complex processes. At least 15 years of experience in Oil and Gas, with skills in simulation, design, rule of thumbs, and one complex process as Delayed Coker. It would be preferable but optional to have skills in strategic planning and commercial process, economic evaluations, and financial reporting & evaluations.Desirable experience as a process engineer in Upstream and Downstream facilities including dehydration, crude desalting, transportation, tank farm, flare systems, slop oil management, atmospheric and vacuum distillation, and hydroprocessing.Knowledge in Process Safety Management is preferred, which includes participation in HAZOPs, HAZOPs LOPA, or some Risk Analysis methodology.Chevron participates in E-Verify in certain locations as required by law.
