Senior Software Development Engineer, Big Data - Mexico
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer to join our Data Management team in Mexico, where you will play a central role in powering analytical and ML teams by providing validated high-quality property datasets.
About the Role
Design, implement, and own mission-critical ETL pipelines to surface high-quality datasets for analytics consumption.
Contribute to the architecture and development of near real-time/batch data products to support business stakeholders, data analysts, data scientists, and machine learning engineers.
Work closely with product engineering teams to onboard their data using data mesh principles and architecture.
Key Responsibilities
Develop complex, highly scalable/reliable data pipelines using Hadoop/Hive/Spark/Presto/Airflow/Kinesis or equivalent technologies.
Collaborate with customers to understand and capture requirements.
Design and implement data structures and algorithms to optimize data processing.
Work with a cross-functional team to develop and implement data solutions.
About You
5+ years of software development experience with high proficiency in Python, Java, Scala, or another language.
SQL knowledge and experience working with distributed databases, streaming, and batch-processing systems.
Familiarity with data mesh principles and architecture.
Fluent in English and Spanish (both written and spoken).
