This full-time position comes with a competitive hourly wage, paid time off, floating holidays, profit sharing, flexible schedule, performance-based bonuses, and team building activities.About the RoleThis is a salaried position (40 hours/week) with an estimated annual salary of $73,600 based on a 40-hour workweek and assuming a pay rate equivalent to the national average for senior-level web development positions in the United States.ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining responsive WordPress websites that meet client requirements and industry best practices.
This includes creating concept pages, scope of work documents, and time estimates, as well as custom themes and plugins to enhance website functionality and user experience.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of website components.Optimize website performance, including page load speed and mobile responsiveness; implement and customize third-party integrations; perform website updates, backups, and security enhancements.Conduct thorough testing and debugging processes to ensure website functionality and compatibility across different browsers and devices.QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you'll need:Proven experience as a Senior WordPress Website Designer & Developer with 5 years of experience.Clear communication skills with clients via email and project management tools.Able to manage junior website developers.Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP; strong understanding of WordPress architecture, themes, and plugins.Experience with responsive design and mobile optimization; knowledge of SEO best practices and implementation; familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
