Strategic Campus Development Director

A high-achieving Strategic Campus Development Director is sought to lead the development of CalArts' campus facilities, driving growth and innovation in a collaborative environment.About the Role:The successful candidate will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer (SVPFA/CFO) and be responsible for advancing the physical development of facilities that support education, performance, administration, and student living programs.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a comprehensive capital facilities master plan to guide campus facility development- Manage the planning and design of major and minor capital projects, including remodels, renovations, and new constructions- Ensure all capital projects are functional, environmentally sustainable, and cost-effective- Lead the development and management of an annual capital budget- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve goals and drive innovationRequirements:- Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or a related technical field- 10+ years of experience in capital facilities planning and development- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Proven ability to manage complex budgets and projects- Working knowledge of facilities management and safety protocols in a complex organizationSalary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
