We are committed to fostering a culture of inclusiveness and diversity.Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per yearAbout the Role:The Associate Vice President of Capital Facilities Planning reports to the Senior Vice President of Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer (SVPFA/CFO).
This role serves as a leader on campus and in CalArts' broader communities responsible for advancing the physical development of facilities that enable education, performance, administration, and the housing, dining, and living programs that sustain its students and faculty.Key Responsibilities:1.
Develop and implement a capital facilities master plan to guide the development of campus facilities.2.
Manage the planning and design of all major and minor capital projects, including remodel, renovation, and new constructions.3.
Ensure that all capital projects are functional, environmentally sustainable, and cost-effective.4.
Lead the development and management of an annual capital budget.5.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve goals and innovate new solutions.Requirements:1.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or a related technical field.2.
10+ years of capital facilities planning and development experience.3.
Ability to interact and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.4.
Proven excellence as a financial steward.5.
