The ideal Technical Purchasing Specialist will be detail-oriented, possessing the ability to work in a team environment scoping and creating technical quotes and proposals. This position will be responsible for focusing on providing proactive follow-up and product information. Must have good IT knowledge to support procurement (purchasing software and hardware).Key Responsibilities:Creation and presentation of Quotes, presales materials, recommendations, and other presentations to support client needs.Continuous communication with clients throughout the sales cycle to answer questions, concerns, or provide updates.Ordering hardware, software, and services from various vendors or distributors.Monitoring backorders, warehousing, shipping, and receiving.Assist with vendor relations and continuous monitoring of vendor programs, including training, sales minimums, and other parameters.Use purchasing portal and associated integrations with other systems or departments.Manage purchasing tracking tools, monitor KPIs, and generate management information reporting.Review and follow up on orders or specific customers' requests to ensure an excellent customer experience.Responding and monitoring bidding from RFQs/RFPs.Support the overall sales effort by providing hardware/software recommendations and selecting appropriate products to meet customers' needs.Qualifications:Proficiency in English language skills at either C1 level is required.English Resume is required.Previous work experience in the IT industry in a technical or technical sales role.Understanding and working knowledge of networking, IT security, server components, and end-user computing.Ability to effectively present technical information in a well-presented, easily understandable format.Gathering information from clients, managers, sales, and other staff to create appropriate solutions.Facilitate and answer questions related to proposed technical solutions and/or products.Development of vendor relationships and familiarization with how to use vendor resources such as deal registration.
