About the role:The Video Editor will be responsible for producing and managing end-to-end direct response videos and assets for digital platforms to deliver compelling and impactful marketing content across the Unybrands portfolio. The position will work closely with Brand and Marketing Teams cross-functionally and with external partners.Responsibilities include - but not limited to:Organize, edit and create direct response videos that optimize and increase engagement with our audience and consumers.Identify and apply strong principles of framing and visual storytelling to create and edit impactful eye-catching trend-forwarding marketing videos.Solid understanding of graphic and text overlays and spatial balance to enhance messaging and content focus.Optimize and localize content for different digital platforms as needed.Manage high-volume design requests across several brands daily while understanding priority and maintaining organized design files.Improve design ways of working to find areas of opportunity to improve efficiency.A successful team member will have:Bachelor's Degree in Film, Broadcast Communications, Media Production, Graphic Design, Photography, or related field.Minimum 3 years of experience in video editing for direct response marketing content or similar content.Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Blender (or 3D animation skills) and Figma a plus.Solid understanding of marketing and advertising styles and pace.Detail-oriented and deadline-focused with attention to detail both in composition and visual storytelling and willing to engage AI to expedite production.Strong project planning, tracking, and organizational skills.Must be willing to work 8:30-4:30 EST.Thrive in a fast-paced environment and will stop at nothing to ensure a project is completed successfully. Experience working for a startup.
