Senior Database Administrator (Remote position)

At Space44 we are looking for an experienced (Senior) Database Administrator in a remote mode located in Latin America.

-What we need from you:
*Installation
SQL Server Installation, Upgrades, Migrations and Configuration
Install database software service packs and cumulative updates as necessary
Follow Change Management processes to implement database configuration changes
*Support
The administration, backup, integrity and security of various SQL servers and databases
Responsible for database tasks from software upgrades and custom deployments, to troubleshooting
Troubleshoot and resolve different server and database issues
Define, administer and maintain database security access
*Monitor and Maintenance
Reliability, stability and data integrity of databases
Database systems/storage resources and query throughput
Perform index maintenance (rebuild/defragment)
Collect ana analyze different server and database statistics

-Must-have:
3-5 years of practical experience in MS SQL Server
SQL Server 2008R2 – SQL Server 2019 knowledge
SQL Server architecture knowledge
Very good knowledge of the T-SQL and SSIS
Knowledge of DMV and DMF
Basic Azure knowledge
Basic knowledge of PowerShell
Basic knowledge of PowerBI
Good communication in English language (CEFR B2+) proficiency
Project management skills
A keen attention to detail
Experience working in a distributed team
Individual initiative and team collaboration, self-motivation, and independent spirit as a remote worker, keeping a professional style with their colleagues.
